Bungalow Mondays: Tromp L'oeil Leather Tufted Walls

I love tufted furniture and walls, so when my husband sent me a link to this tromp l'oeil wallpaper the other day I thought it was super cool. The wallpaper looks exactly like tufted leather, and apparently (per the website) itis made "with superior-quality paper, with a grain leather touch & feel." So it even FEELS like leather? How awesome is that? It comes in a few different colors (white, grey, chocolate, red, and pink), but I think I'm partial to the white (super modern but traditional at the same time). What do you think?

Whimsical wallpaper

Blackbird wallpaper, by Cavern Home

About a year ago I came across this fabulous Blackbird wallpaper by Cavern Home. I just love it to pieces and I want to put this in my dining room and make a whole "medieval forest" look, with a large hammered dining table and benches, with some fabulous end chairs. I have a lot of sketches and inspiration photos in my old leatherbound journal, but that is another post for another day.

Here I just wanted to share some other whimsical wallpapers that I have come across that I love. If you're too scared to wallpaper a whole room with bold prints, I would recommend that you wallpaper a small bathroom, nook, or hallway. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how it turns out.
